A men’s roll neck wool jumper based on the classic Royal Navy submariner sweaters designed to protect submarine crews from freezing conditions in the North Sea. Made on a circular knitting machine, it features a seamless design, which means it has a smooth shape to it, not dissimilar to vintage tubular t-shirts. The roll neck is made in Scotland from warm five gauge wool, and features an embroidered ‘broad arrow’ logo on the chest—a recurring Nigel Cabourn motif originally used to denote military equipment or uniform.
