As part of their MIJ (Made In Japan) collection, Naked And Famous Denim show what is possible in the hands of some of the best Japanese denim dyeing, weaving and manufacturing. The jeans boast a unique dye that looks black but is actually dark indigo blue with a touch of black added to the dye. Needless to say, the fade potential of these jeans are insane - coming in at 17oz they are medium-heavy in weight allowing for deep, defined fading. Slub yarns and low-tension weaving create an organic gritty texture to the fabric. Every detail on the jeans is designed to enhance the look of the jeans with wear. Iron capped buttons will rust and copper rivets will oxidise to a topaz colour. Lambskin leather patch designed by renowned Illustrator Alvin Lee will darken and become richer with age. While the denim is unsanforized, each MIJ7 garment has been tempi treated to pre-shrink the fabric but maintain its natural hairy, gritty, loomstate properties.

Materials & Care 

• Raw denim

• For deepest contrasting fades wear regularly and refrain from washing for 4-6 months.

Fit 

• The Weird Guy is a standard tapered fit with a medium rise, a comfortable top block, and a taper from knee to hem.
