The Filson Mackinaw Cruiser is the most adaptable cold-weather protection available. It is wind-resistant but breathable, and is made of tough 24oz wool woven at Oregon's historic Pendleton Woolen Mills. Mackinaw Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water without feeling damp or clammy, making it an excellent wet or dry insulation. For dependable warmth, two layers of wool cover the majority of the torso. The adaptable design has four snap-flap pockets on the front as well as a full-width map/chart pocket that spans the whole back.
